EEECS in Queen’s University is excited to host this inspirational event for Girls in Electronics.

- £20 for each individual pupil. The cost of booking for groups over 5 is £15 per person.
We are excited to be holding a day promoting Girls in Electronics. Kaden Patterson a 2nd year MEng Computer Science student, is holding the Grove Beginner Kit for Arduino which we will be using in the workshop. Kaden will soon be starting her placement year as a Software Engineer in Rapid 7, a computing company that specialises in cyber security. She was awarded the Rachel Stanford Scholarship.
SCHEDULE
- TOUR: including the new Sustainability Lab in the Ashby Building.
- MEET IN THE BOARD ROOM: our female colleagues, students and industrial partners.
- PRACTICAL WORKSHOP: introducing Arduino programming and soldering practice.
- GOODY BAG: In addition the girls will take home a bag of goodies including the Grove Electronics Kit more than covering the cost of the workshop.
