Collaboration between the Art Society and the Queen's Computing Society
The Art Society and Computing Society hosted a creative evening where students made video game-inspired art using Perler beads, bringing together EEECS students and others for a fun social experience.
On Wednesday 16th October from 6 to 9 pm, there was a wonderful collaboration between the Art Society and the Queen's Computing Society, designed to bring students from the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EEECS) and other disciplines together for a creative and social experience. The aim was to offer a unique opportunity for students to express their creativity and connect with each other through the medium of art.
Participants created artwork inspired by iconic video games, such as Mario, Pokémon and other beloved franchises, using Perler beads.
This event not only allowed students to explore their artistic side but also fostered a sense of community and camaraderie among attendees from diverse academic backgrounds.
