Dr Susan Liddy is a lecturer in media and communication studies, at Mary Immaculate College, Limerick. Her research interests are in Irish film and the Irish film industry; gender issues in the script development and production process; creative practice; female screenwriters and directors and a female 'voice' and the representation of older women in screen narratives. She has recently edited Women in the Irish Film Industry: Stories and Storytellers (Cork UP, 2020).
