You are warmly invited to the book launch of A Collection of Creative Anthropologies: Drowning in Blue Light and Other Stories, edited by Eva van Roekel and Fiona Murphy, which will take place in the Brian Friel Theatre on Friday 18 October from 5pm to 7pm. Several colleagues from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy, and Politics contributed to the book and the editors are affiliates of QUB’s Centre for Creative Ethnography .

17.50-18.00 Performing Waves - based on the poem Waves, this immersive performance is an experimental dialogue between anthropologist/poet Maruška Svašek, photographer Alan Field, musicologist/saxophonist Franziska Schroeder, ethnomusicologist/pianist Ioannis Tsioulakis, musician/composer Tristan Sparks, sound scholar/director of HIVE John D’Arcy, and members of the experimental choir HIVE.
