Gender Equality Office
The Gender Equality Office was launched in September 2011 and the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences was the first area within Queen’s University to set up its own office dedicated to gender equality.
Professor Michelle McKinley is the Director of Gender Equality, and SWAN Champion for the School.
The Gender Equality Office in the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences is closely linked with the Queen’s Gender Initiative, which supports women’s career opportunities across the University.
