Our School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences has a strong tradition of welcoming international students. Established in 1849, it is one of the oldest medical schools in the UK. Located in Belfast, in Northern Ireland the School benefits from state of the art facilities including the KN Cheung SK Chin Intersim Centre, Dentistry Lab and Clinical Anatomy Suite.

We have a strong commitment to excellence in education demonstrated by our strong international subject ranking (Top 200 in the world for Medicine QS WUR by subject 2023). We also pride ourselves on engaging in research with a global impact (4^th in the UK for Health and Biomedical Sciences REF 2021).
