Public outreach & key achievements
I am a practising GP in Belfast and an advocate for women's health, LGBTQI people and other forms of equality in healthcare. Both myself and my PGR students have been recipients of various awards and prizes, and I was the primary applicant for the Centre for Medical Education's national Institutional Commitment to Scholarship Award (ASME, 2022). I run a small and supportive research group within CME which has enjoyed international success, and offer training in qualitative methodologies.
