Our Biomedical Laboratory is equipped with modern laboratory equipment enabling our educators to provide students with engaging ‘hands on’ laboratory experiences and integrate high level laboratory techniques into our degree programmes. Various microtomes, light microscopes and stereo microscopes fitted with cameras and monitors along with a DSD confocal microscope are just a few examples of the range of equipment we use to deliver laboratory practical sessions with the educational value and laboratory skills experience our students need as future scientists and health professionals.
