Dr Blanaid Hicks
Blanaid is currently the Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow, and a Cancer Research UK Fellow, working in the field of cancer epidemiology in the Centre of Public Health, in the School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Science in Queen’s. She graduated with her degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2012, and then continued her studies in the Centre for Public Health in the School of Medicine to gain her PhD. She has recently returned to QUB to take her current position after two years in a post-doctoral position in a renowned research group in McGill University, Canada.
