Welcome to the Centre for Dentistry- where your future in dentistry begins!

At the Centre for Dentistry you will experience a welcoming student environment where our dentistry degree course integrates academic training, with hands-on clinical experience and professional development. Our academic staff will support your learning and help you develop the skills necessary to excel as an insightful dental practitioner. 

Throughout your time with us, you will be part of a vibrant and supportive QUB community. You will engage in collaborative learning and gain invaluable experience through your clinical placements. Throughout the course you will develop your clinical skills in our clinical skills laboratories and experience high-fidelity simulated learning in the QUB InterSim Centre. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, clinical skills, clinical reasoning,  leadership, confidence and ability to work as part of a dental team and to become compassionate, competent dental professionals. 

As a dental student you will be supported throughout the course by a personal tutor and the student wellbeing team to provide pastoral, academic and study skills advice. 

Students are also part of the QUB BDSA which organises social, sporting and other events throughout the year.
