Initially accredited in 2021, EQUIS is the leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. It is run by the European Foundation for Management Development and its objective is to raise the standard of management education worldwide.

The rigorous MBA accreditation criteria of the The Association of MBAs ensures that only programmes demonstrating the highest standards in teaching, learning and curriculum design, career development and employability, student, alumni and employer interaction achieve AMBA accreditation. This prestigious accreditation was first achieved in 2021. Only 300 business schools worldwide hold this gold standard.

The Small Business Charter (SBC) is an award for the UK’s world-class business schools. The SBC award recognises expertise and celebrates business schools that play an effective role in supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship.

The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) is a United Nations-supported platform to raise the profile of sustainability in business schools around the world. PRME Champion status is awarded to Schools that contribute to thought and action leadership in the context of the United Nations sustainable development agenda.

The Athena Swan Charter is a framework used globally to support and transform gender equality within higher education and research. In May 2020, Queen’s Business School was awarded a Bronze Athena SWAN Charter Mark, in recognition of our progress towards eliminating gender bias and developing an inclusive culture that values all staff.

The Business Graduates Association (BGA) is a membership and quality assurance body with a wide network of world-leading institutions committed to responsible management practices and lifelong learning. Being a member Business School allows free access for QBS students and graduates to personal and professional development resources for the entirety of their career.
