Innovative Ideas
To make an impact in the world of business innovation, Queen's Business School links together academic expertise, talented graduates, and businesses across the world. We encourage sharing of expertise, ideas, data and experiences, so that the process is mutually beneficial for everyone involved.
Does your organisation have an innovation project that could lead to the development of a new or improved product, service, business model, or process?
Will it create value in your business, produce new profits or help grow the business? If so, then an Innovation Voucher could help support this.
£5K Innovation Vouchers allow businesses or potential entrepreneurs to access expertise from Queen's Business School, as a public sector knowledge provider, for innovative projects.
Applications must be submitted through Invest NI.

Funding can help with investigating and testing the idea, developing leading technology, and linking to academic expertise at Queen's Business School to collaborate on strategically important projects.
This support is available to Invest NI customers only and may be subject to some eligibility criteria. It must be applied for through Invest NI.

A Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) drives a business innovation project and is designed to bring about lasting, transformative change. It's a three way collaboration between:
- A business (a company of any size, in any sector or a not-for-profit organisation)
- A University / research institution (knowledge base)
- A graduate or post graduate (known as an Associate)
The project is led by a suitably qualified Associate with the capability to lead a strategic project with full support and input from the academic and business teams. This partnership embeds vital new expertise, stimulates business growth and powers innovation excellence.
