This event, hosted by the Northern Ireland Productivity Forum, will bring together business leaders and policymakers, and includes the launch of the Forum's latest publications:
Northern Ireland Management Survey: this report presents the results from the Forum's 2022 survey of management practices in local businesses. It explores the drivers of good and bad management practices, and how management practices are linked to business outcomes, including productivity, innovation, and exporting.
Northern Ireland Productivity Dashboard 2023: this dashboard brings together the latest data available to understand Northern Ireland's economic performance across 18 drivers of productivity, relative to the UK average and other regions, and over time. It highlights where barriers to productivity growth exist, their severity, and whether progress is being made to address them.
These reports will be presented by Dr David Jordan and Professor John Turner, from Queen’s Business School.
Alongside these presentations, the event will feature two guest speakers:
Professor Nola Hewitt-Dundas, AHSS Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor at Queen's University Belfast
Dame Rotha Johnston DBE, Chair of the Northern Ireland Productivity Forum
