Teaching and Learning Forum Seedcorn Funding
Congratulations to Dr Bibek Bhatta, who has been awarded funding in the inaugural QMS Teaching and Learning Forum seedcorn funding competition.
The Committee commented:
The TLF Committee is delighted to fund this early-stage pedagogical research which deals with the topical issue of online exams, and looks at innovative approaches to maintain the integrity of assessment. Specifically, the project aims to examine the impact of element of surprise in
preserving exam integrity when common monitoring protocols (like those available in on-site
exam setting) or other paid outsourced services cannot be implemented. Dr Bhatta intends to use the funding to develop the research and including attending relevant conferences. We wish him well with this study and look forward to seeing the findings at the Teaching and Learning Forum soon.
