Enterprise SU May Ball Awards Ceremony
On Friday 10th May 2019 Enterprise SU held their first ever May Ball which was a celebration of student enterprise at Queen’s University. Queen’s Management School were proud sponsors of the event, sponsoring the Rising Star award for the student who, despite being at the early stages of entrepreneurship, showed significant potential for future impact. The Management School representatives at the awards were Dr Lucy McCarthy, Dr Adam Frost and Dr Karen Bonner.
The Management School were delighted that three of our entrepreneurial students were shortlisted for the awards. Eve McLelland, a final year student studying International Business with Spanish, was shortlisted for the Enterprise Champion award. Francesca Morelli, a final year student studying International Business with French, was shortlisted for both the Rising Star award and the People’s Choice award and Elizaveta Shevelkova, a graduate from the International MBA, was shortlisted for the Rising Star award.
We are delighted to announce that Francesca Morelli took home the Rising Star award, presented by Dr Adam Frost. Francesca was also voted the winner of the People’s Choice award as a result of her winning pitch about her start-up company DiP.
We would like to congratulate all of our students, and all those shortlisted for the awards, and thank Enterprise SU for a fantastic event and celebration of entrepreneurship.
