Postgraduate: Chaitanya Mohan's MSc International Business Journey
Meet Chaitanya Mohan, who undertook a Master's degree with QBS to build on his existing industry knowledge.
Why did you choose to study MSc International Business?
Starting my career amid the global pandemic reshaped my professional path. Working remotely with organisations and teams in India, the USA, and the UK, I had to rapidly develop my management skills to coordinate cross-functional operations and optimise processes asynchronously. Navigating time zones and cultural differences sharpened my communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities. Witnessing how diverse perspectives and virtual collaboration drive innovation and propel success ignited my passion for international business. I realised that efficient processes, effective operations, and strong global relationships are essential for growth in our interconnected world.
Eager to build on this foundation, I pursued an MSc in International Business at Queen's Business School. The school's focus on practical learning aligned with my desire to apply advanced concepts to real-world challenges. Through experiential learning and industry engagement, I honed my strategic thinking, expanded my global perspective, and developed leadership skills essential for thriving in an international workforce. By uniting my more than five years of operational experience with my future ambitions, I'm now equipped to navigate international business, collaborate with diverse teams, and drive meaningful growth for global organisations.

Plus, the strong alumni network was appealing as a way to connect with professionals who have real-world experience, offering guidance beyond what’s in the classroom. These factors made Queen’s a natural choice for advancing my career.
