The Northern Ireland Longitudinal Study (NILS) is a wide-ranging administrative database of people living in Northern Ireland and it could be a critically important tool for studying socio-economic changes in the context of Covid-19 in order to understand all the aspects of our lives that have been affected by the pandemic.
This interactive workshop will provide an overview of the readily available data, the topic areas which can be rapidly explored and discuss feasibility of linkage with health data. The event will be of interest to researchers. However, we would warmly welcome those with a policy interest, as we are keen to ensure any research arising from the NILS achieves maximum impact and is disseminated to the appropriate departments and organisations.
This event is a collaboration between ARK (www.ark.ac.uk) and NILS Research Support Unit (https://www.nils-rsu.co.uk/).
