On 28 June in the beautiful Riddel Hall at Queen’s we celebrated the academic success of this year’s PGCE group (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) with a presentation of their certificates and prizes. The guest speaker was our retiring PGCE Science colleague Dr Billy McClune whose inspiring speech gave the newly qualified teachers plenty of laughs, advice and reminders about the difference a teacher makes to the lives of pupils.
