Professor Carl Bagley is delighted to announce that SSESW has secured the bronze Athena SWAN award. He said,

'Securing the bronze award represents an important milestone and reflects the hard work and dedication of the SWAN co-champions Professor Karen Winter and Dr Joe Allen and everyone in the Self-Assessment Team in SSESW. We are also grateful for the advice and support received from the Institutional Self-Assessment Team and our SWAN ‘buddies’. We are absolutely thrilled to receive the award and look forward to building on our existing progress to address gender equality in SSESW.'
