Sir William Whitla Hall

A spectacular self contained venue, set apart from the Lanyon Building yet still enjoying an imposing location on the main Queen's site, the Sir William Whitla Hall is an excellent multi-purpose venue. With seating for up to 1200 delegates it lends itself as a plenary meeting or concert space but is also an adaptable venue that can be utilised for exhibitions or to cater for lunch or dinner events for up to 350 guests. The Sir William Whitla Hall is a famous venue within the Belfast area, it has strong associations with the Belfast Festival, Queen's own graduations and other major events in the city.

  • Entirely self contained venue with break out rooms and storage space in addition to the main hall
  • It houses a large fixed stage and a fully fitted 8m wide projection screen, data projector and PA system
  • The 559.1m sq space lends itself well to additional lighting and sound systems as well as  various floor configurations
  • Up to 100 poster boards can be displayed or alternatively 38 exhibition stands may be erected
  • Catering can be provided to suit all requirements, from drinks receptions to gala dinners
  • Excellent on site car parking available for evening events
  • The space is licensed and may be serviced by up to three bar areas
