GIS Mapping

A large part of the research being undertaken both by the Living Legacies centre as well as community research projects involves digital resources.

Here we have collated a number of digital resources that have been developed through Living Legacies’ research collaborations with external partners, as well as community groups.

If these resources are of interest to your project – as a community research or academic research project – then do please get in touch with us, and we can explore ways of helping to develop similar resources for your WW1 project. This might include interactive, digital mapping, an area we particular have expertise in, particularly through the Centre’s Geographical Information Systems (GIS) work, as well as the digitisation of objects and materials, through the Centre for Data Digitisation and Analysis (CDDA) linked with Living Legacies, and the research interests of our CIs, Dr Paul Ell and Prof Lorna Hughes.
