Queen's University Belfast congratulates Diversity Mark on their 5th Anniversary
Professor Karen McCloskey, Director Queen's Gender Initiative attended Diversity Mark's 5th Anniversary event on Friday 11 November 2022.
Professor McCloskey participated in the Founding Partners Panel discussion which was hosted by Nuala Murphy, Director of Diversity Mark. Other panellists included Councillor Aine McCabe, Belfast City Council and Chair of the Women’s Steering Group, John Healy OBE, Allstate, Managing Director, Jackie Henry MBE, Deloitte, Managing Partner and Christine White, Head of Corporate at Women in Business NI.
At the Founders Partners Panel session, Prof McCloskey said, 'Real impact takes time, so planning, patience and persistence are essential. Take a long-term view - then take a longitudinal review. Use data. Data makes the invisible, visible.'
