Alberto Longo is a Professor in Environmental Economics, and Director of Education for PGT studies in the School of Biological Sciences.
His main research interests are in using non-market valuation techniques – discrete choice experiments, contingent valuation, travel cost, hedonic pricing model – microeconometrics, experimental economics and behavioural economics to investigate people’s preferences, attitudes and willingness to pay for public health interventions and programmes, and for environmental goods and services.
