Leandro Garcia

Dr Garcia is Lecturer of Complexity Science and Public Health and co-lead the Complexity, Public and Planetary Health Cluster, at the Queen’s University Belfast. He works on the development and application of systems thinking and complex systems science methods to investigate and address public and planetary health challenges. He is PI or Co-I (Work Package lead) on multiple complex systems-oriented research projects and has served as expert consultant for various international and national organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Development Programme. He is also member of the WHO Collaborating Centre for research and training on complex systems and network science for non-communicable disease prevention and control.
