Rhiannon Corcoran

Rhiannon works part time as an academic specializing in public mental health and investigating the roles of urban, social and economic environments in determining our wellbeing and mental health. The rest of her week is spent directing the social enterprise, Prosocial Place where she uses research evidence to inform place-making and place-keeping practice. This synthesis of evidence informed practice and practice informed evidence helps to insure that the best interventions and processes are used to make our places better for us. 

Her work on the concept and measurement of community wellbeing and on the psychosocial and environmental determinants and mechanisms that underpin it continues to gain in influence. She is a strong advocate of meaningful co-production where the evidence of her team has shown that it is critical to achieving positive impacts on individual and community wellbeing from neighborhood interventions.
