I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast, (QUB) with BSc (Hons) Biochemistry and I then worked in the Department of Haematology Research, QUB where I completed a PhD.  I then had a post-doctoral research position in Haematology Research, QUB, working on a project in collaboration with UMIST, Manchester.

In 1999, I moved to Randox Laboratories where I worked on the EVIDENCE project.    

I had a career break and I have now returned to work at The Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology, QUB, as a Research Technician on the HaBio project.
