SFF: Strascheg Award and European Summit
The Strascheg Award is a startup ideas competition by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship in Munich and is now opening applications to students and alumni of universities in the Start for Future (SFF) network, of which Queen's University is a member.
Shortlisted ideas will receive 750 euro to cover travel costs to pitch at the awards ceremony in at the SFF Summit in Munich (Nov 30th, more information below). There will be several prize awards on the night and a great networking opportunity attending the SFF summit which will be attended by policy makers, academics, companies, startups and students.
Eligibility criteria are that you must be registered as a company and have less than 10k euro revenue.
Application form for Queen's startups and the application deadline has been extended to October 27th, 2023, 10.59pm UK time.
Start for Future Megatrends Summit in Munich, Germany: 30th November & 1st December 2023
The SFF Megatrends Summit will bring together academia, startups, industry leaders, and policy makers from public organizations with the aim to foster collaboration, innovation, and co-creation across regions. It will focus on the critical industry verticals of manufacturing, healthcare, mobility, energy, and Regenerative & Circular Economy. The summit will feature thought-provoking panels, inspiring keynotes, and interactive co-creation formats, providing attendees with actionable insights and blueprints for the development of joint cross-regional pilot projects.
Student and alumni startup's from Queen’s University are able to register to attend the summit for free. Please email inQUBate@qub.ac.uk if you wish to attend and we will share the voucher code to register for free. We will be collating a list of policy makers, companies, startups and students attending from our network.
