This dimension of place sees QCAP working in partnership with community stakeholders and residents to improve health and wellbeing.
QCAP works with communities to identify and prioritise current challenges, seeking to co-design innovative and effective responses to improve health and wellbeing. This dimension of place is multi-disciplinary in its approach, and multifaceted in its response. The success of this initiative relies upon the approach utilised, bringing together academic, experiential, and best practice knowledge to create collaborative lasting solutions to address persistent challenges, tackle disadvantage and improve health and wellbeing in local communities.
Our current work within this dimension of place highlights innovative responses to prevalent community concerns linked to food insecurity, mental health, and substance use.
