Reading Together is a programme that aims to improve the reading skills of children in foster care. The children receive free books that they can keep and there is guidance and support for foster carers on how to help their children read more effectively.
We are a team of researchers from the Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation at Queen's University Belfast and the Rees Centre at the University of Oxford. Funded by the ESRC, we are working to develop an evidence-based programmes that seeks to improve reading skills for children in foster care. Find out more about us >
