Professor Frank Kee

Professor Kee is a clinically trained epidemiologist and public health physician with three decades experience of cohort studies, evidence synthesis and translation. He is a methodologist with experience in eclectic fields including genetic epidemiology, diagnostic studies, decision science and health economics. He is currently Chair of the Scientific Steering Committee for the NICOLA Study and has been a co-Investigator and collaborator in numerous international cohort consortia including MORGAM, CHANCES, and Biomarcare. He was the Director of the UKCRC Centre of Excellence for Public Health, one of five UK Centres, an initiative which delivered over 136 doctorial students, 68 post-doctoral scientists and 9 tenured Lectureships within his institution over a decade of programmatic funding. As PI and Co-I his grant income exceeds £25 million in the last 10 years, with >300 peer-reviewed publications.
