Professor Trung Q Duong
Professor in Telecommunications
Trung is Chair of Telecommunications at Queen’s University Belfast, and a Research Chair of the Royal Academy of Engineering. His current research interests include wireless communications, signal processing, machine learning, data analytics with the applications in environment, disaster management, healthcare, agriculture, and industrial automation. He is an author/co-author of 400 journal and conference papers with 12,700 citations and h-index 61 (Google Scholars). He currently serves as an Editor for the Nature Scientific Reports, the IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and an Executive Editor for IEEE Communications Letters. He is the recipient of prestigious Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellowship (2015-2020) and has won a prestigious Newton Prize 2017.
