Information about Dublin
Travel to Dublin
Dublin can be reached easily by car ferry from the UK and France as well
as by air. Aer Lingus, the Irish
National Airline, has been designated the official
carrier for the conference. Aer Lingus flights connect Dublin with
cities throughout the UK, continental Europe, the United States and Canada.
Inside Dublin
A number of tours have been outlined in separate
pages but for those wishing to travel independently, the most convenient
mode of transport is car hire. There are train and coach connections between
the major towns but to really experience Ireland, wandering is essential!
Ireland offers a range of accommodation including various grades of hotels
and guest houses and our world famous B&B’s where travellers stay with
Irish families in their homes and are provided with accommodation, usually
ensuite, and a hearty Irish breakfast.

Weather
Ireland enjoys a temperate climate. The weather in July is generally warm
and pleasant. A light raincoat and sweater for the evening are recommended.
