Professor Wendy Barclay CBE, is Action Medical Research Chair Virology in the Department of Infectious Disease at Imperial College London. Professor Barclay is a world-renowned expert on respiratory viruses and her research has focused on identifying molecular mechanisms of influenza host restriction and on developing effective experimental systems for studying this key property of the virus.
