This session is especially relevant to anyone volunteering at Homework Clubs which supports children and young people from different nationalities and to anyone interested in Cultural Awareness.

The session will look at:

• Culture and the impact it can have on our perspective, and the perspective of others.
• Different types of bias; how we can monitor our own bias and understanding bias in others.
• Engaging ‘cultural empathy’ and communicating more effectively across cultural barriers.
• How we can continue to develop our cultural awareness beyond this session
