LGBTQ+ History Month runs throughout February to increase visibility of the queer community throughout history.
The Queer Lectures line-up includes:
- ‘Weaponising how annoying you are to do some good’ by Jenny Maguire. Jenny is a leading activist and one of the organisers of Trans Pride Dublin.
- ‘The Queer History of Belfast’ by Dr Tom Hulme. Dr Hulme is a lead on the research project, ‘Queer History NI’ and is currently working on a book about the lives of queer men in Belfast from 1890 to 1960.
