'A petition of the Right Honourable Nicholas Lord Viscount Kingsland, Sir Walter Blake, Baronet, and Joseph Nagle, esquire, in behalf of themselves and the rest of the Roman Catholicks of Ireland, setting forth, that they may be aggrieved by the oath of supremacy, in heads of a bill, and praying to be heard by their counsel, was presented to the house and read.
Ordered, that the said petition do lie on the table, until the report from the CWH, to whom the said heads of a bill are committed, be made.'

'Then a motion being made, that a petition of ... be now read, the same was read accordingly;
And the said clause and oath being also read,
Ordered, that the further consideration of the said clause be adjourned until tomorrow at one of the clock, and that the petitioners be then heard by their counsel, if they think fit, at the bar of this house.'

'Then the house, according to order, proceeded to take into further consideration the clause relating to the oath of supremacy in ...; and counsel attending at the door were, according to order, called in, and heard on behalf of ..., and others, against the said clause; and being withdrawn,
The said clause was disagreed to by the house;
And afterwards several amendments were made to the said heads ...'. [sent to CG]
