Main Search

Here you can search the database for words or phrases occuring in the titles of bills. You can type one or more words, and select one of the buttons to search for bills with titles containing any of the words, all of the words or the exact phrase. By default the database will search for bills with any of the words you type here.

You can use the drop-down session menus to restrict the search to one or more sessions. By default the database will search all 65 Sessions from 1692 to 1800.

If you do not type any words, and do not restrict the search by session, clicking on search will produce all the records in the database (more than 4,000). This may take a long time unless you have a fast connection, and may even cause your computer to crash.
