Marsh’s Library, Z.2.1.7 (107), 'Reasons humbly offer’d against the heads of a Bill Intituled heads of a Bill for Explaining & amending an Act Intituled an Act to prevent the further growth of Popery'. These detailed arguments (2,300 words) probably refer to this measure, rather than to the 1707 measure of similar title (no. 2073).
A private act of the British parliament received the royal assent on 6 June 1712, entitled 'An Act for Relief of George Mathew Esquire, against a Clause in an Act of Parliament passed in Ireland, whereby several Fines and Recoveries, and a Settlement of his late Wife's Estate, are set aside.'
The following ESTC item probably refers to the British measure: The case of George Mathew junior, Esquire. [London, 1711]. Docket title: 'The case of George Mathew, Esq; in relation to a clause in an Act of Parliament lately passed in Ireland'. [ESTCT20023]
