Privy Council Notes:
- ‘Upon reading this day at the board the humble petition of Theobald Dillon and Lawrence Day, esquires, in behalf of themselves and several of his majesty’s protestant subjects of the kingdom of Ireland, setting forth that the heads of a bill … (if it pass into a law) the petitioners and many of his majesty’s protestant subjects of that kingdom will be subjected to severe and singular hardships and disabilities and reduced to a worse state and condition than that of papists, and therefore humbly praying to be heard by their counsel against the said bill.’ Referred to law officers, to report to EPC committee. 21 Mar. 1727[8].
