Privy Council Notes:
- First referred by the English Privy Council on 3 Sept. 1719. However on 15 Sept.: 'It is this day ordered by their excellencies the lords justices in council that the orders of this board bearing date the 3rd instant referring the following Irish bills to Mr Attorney and Mr Solicitor General to examine and report their opinion thereon to the lords of the committee appointed to consider of the said Irish bills be discharged and made void. And their excellencies are hereby further pleased to order that the said bills … be, and they are hereby, referred to Mr Attorney General to examine the same, who is to take to his assistance (if he thinks fitting) any of his majesty’s counsel learned in the law now in town for the more speedy dispatch of the said bills.
