Enhancing Employment Outcomes & Promoting Social Inclusion for Adults with ASD
The SSESW Education Research Group and Centre for Behaviour Analysis welcomed Dr. Edith Walsh to the Graduate School. Dr. Walsh presented the findings from her doctoral research, which investigated the use of technology-aided instruction to teach social communication and employment skills to adults with complex needs.
During the workshop, the attendees engaged in a hands-on group activity, in which they developed a hypothetical intervention program based on Dr. Walsh's adapted social skills curriculum. The workshop was highly informative and enjoyable for all and we hope to host Dr. Walsh again in the future.
