Gold Medal from Czech Republic
School of SSESW academic Professor Karola Dillenburger has been awarded the 2024 Gold Medal by Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. This highly prestigious award is given to distinguished representatives of science, culture, higher education, and public life in recognition of their outstanding contribution, including their commitment to the struggle for human rights and dignity, and for engagement with the development of and highlighting the work and reputation of Masaryk University.
Known for 30+ years of high-impact research and a passion for behavioural science teaching, Karola Dillenburger established our Centre for Behaviour Analysis to boost Queen’s University’s sustained impact and world-leading expertise with regards to the science of behaviour analysis. She has led similar developments internationally, with an enduring focus on the Czech Republic and other European countries.
The Gold Medal will be presented on 31 January as part of the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the founding of Masaryk University.
