We are delighted to welcome Dr. Chris Parker as Visiting Scholar in the Centre for Children’s Rights. Chris will hold the position until October 2026. He is currently Senior Evidence and Learning Adviser in the UK Impact Team at Save the Children and has published research on Families’ Experiences of the Welfare System and the Cost of Living in Northern Ireland. As Visiting Scholar, Chris will build on the existing collaboration between the Centre for Children’s Rights, Save the Children and Ulster University which focuses on developing participatory approaches to conducting research with children on poverty and social security.
