Professor Joanne Hughes, Professor Ruth Leitch and Dr Rebecca Loader met with Dr Edona Maloku, Deputy Minister of Education, Kosovo, to progress plans for the development of a training module for engaging with issues of difference and diversity in divided and multicultural societies. The proposed module, hosted by CSE, where Dr Maloku holds a Social Change Initiative Fellowship, will be adapted for use in a range of educational settings in Kosovo. This includes preparation of educators involved in the delivery of a new curriculum for early years education, and training for key stakeholders and practitioners in municipalities that aim to pilot a schools collaboration initiative based on the shared education model.
