On 11th December 2024, Rebecca Loader, Joanne Hughes and Aisling O’Boyle appeared before the Northern Ireland Assembly Education Committee to provide an oral briefing on their research on experiences of education among minority ethnic groups in Northern Ireland. Drawing on a 2-year research study funded by the Nuffield Foundation, the briefing and questions covered topics including school admissions, language education, the curriculum, and responses to racism at school.
