QUILL @ COIL-8
Ionic liquids take you places: QUILL researchers attending the 8th Congress on Ionic Liquids (COIL-8) in Beijing, China.

QUILL researchers have just returned from the 8th Congress on Ionic Liquids (COIL-8) in Beijing, China - the largest ionic liquids conference globally.
Dr Gosia Swadźba-Kwaśny delivered a well-attended plenary lecture, and two QUILL PhD students: Emily Byrne (Swadzba-Kwasny group) and Robert Boyd (Nockemann group) presented their posters at a very busy poster session with over 200 presenters. Many congratulations to Emily for winning a PCCP-sponsored poster prize for her work on physical chemistry of hydrophobic deep eutectic sovents!

Emily Byrne receives a PCCP sponsered poster prize from Prof Tom Welton
