Approximately 200 people came to the 2020 John Bell Lecture in Physics, in association with the Institute of Physics. Prof. Lucie Green from MNSSL/UCL gave a talk “15 Million Degrees”, explaining what we know and don't know about plasma and magnetic fields near the surface of the Sun. She also showed the successful launch of ESA’s Solar Orbiter Mission 3 days previously, from which she had flown back to give her presentation!
