Professor Jean Orr was the founder of the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Queen's 20 years ago this month, and worked tirelessly to ensure that Nursing and Midwifery were adopted into University life. Jean is still very much part of the Nursing family in Northern Ireland, and is pictured below with Prof Donna Fitzsimons, current Head of School, Prof Charlotte McArdle, Chief Nursing Officer, and Marianne Moutray, past Director of Education in the School.
