Professor McCarron was appointed an Honorary Professor with the School of Nursing and Midwifery last year.   The lecture was titled 'Leadership in Academica, Health Research and Health Care: Charting a Personal Journey'.  To celebrate the occasion  we were joined by distinguished guests from the Department of Health, the Health and Social Care Trusts as well as colleagues and students in the University.  The lecture was opened by Professor Ian Bruce, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences.
