Congratulations to our lecturer Dr Gary Mitchell on his recent appointment to the Royal College of Nursing’s (RCN) Older People’s Forum. Gary will work with a small team of nursing specialists to represent 12,500 nurses, who practise with older people, across the UK. As part of his role Gary will celebrate & share best practice, promote positive & inclusive approaches to the care of older people and their families, challenge barriers to good care & contribute to the development of guidelines for the care of older people. Well Done Gary!
